My father understood that the Swan Valley is one of the finest wine regions in the world for fortified wine, and it was with this Vintage style that he built his reputation for quality wines.
Using bio-dynamically grown, old vine Shiraz from our Swan Valley vineyard, I followed my father’s traditional techniques including the addition of old brandy spirit and bottling the wine within 2 years to retain its true character. This Vintage style is more concentrated than a Ruby and without the extended barrel ageing of our Rare Tawny.
Like our last Vintage release in 1982, this wine can be enjoyed young or will continue to develop in the bottle for a number of decades.

Cellaring- 30 to 40 years.
